Lisbon School Department is seeking an Education Technician II/III for district-wide coverage. The role involves working 7 hours per day (35 hours/wk) across 36 weeks, supporting students with disabilities in resource rooms and classrooms.
Responsibilities include assisting the special education teacher, coordinating IEP services, and supporting students in both self-contained and mainstream environments to ensure access to education.

Hours are from 7:15 am- 2:15 pm
Responsible for assisting special education teacher with the running of a resource room. The candidate will work with numerous special education students and be able to supervise and coordinate IEP services with special education teacher.
Working also with elementary, middle school, and high school students with disabilities in a self-contained or in a mainstream environment to provide support in order for them to benefit from their education.
*CURRENT MAINE STATE ED TECH II / III AUTHORIZATION REQUIRED and FINGERPRINTED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION*
Experience needed: Special education experience preferred, will train appropriate candidate.
