Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an ED Tech to provide direct patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse at Marcum & Wallace Hospital. Responsibilities include basic patient care, vitals, documentation, and assisting with mobility and procedures.

You will work in a fast-paced hospital environment, coordinate with healthcare teams, and focus on compassionate, high-quality patient care. Candidates should have a high school diploma and relevant certifications or experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred prior to direct patient care.
• EMR/EMT/Medical Assisting certifications preferred.
• Previous Patient Care Tech or nursing-support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with mobility, personal hygiene, and daily activities.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and vitals.
• Perform lab draws and ECGs as directed.
• Report changes to the nurse and participate in handoffs.
• Support patient safety and maintain clinical cleanliness.
