Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The role includes assisting medical and nursing staff with treatment and providing essential clerical reception duties on site.

Required: high school diploma or GED and BLS. Preferred: 1 year in ED tech and additional life support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• American Heart Association BLS is required.
• Preferred: 1 year of ED technician experience.
• Preferred: ACLS/PALS/NRP or other life support credentials.

Responsibilities

• Assists medical and nursing staff with care and treatment of emergency patients, including adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
• Performs general clerical reception duties as needed.
