Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN seeks a Registered Nurse for the Staffing Collaborative 13-week assignments across the ED Stepdown unit. This temporary role supports coverage with premium pay and optional health benefits.

You will work day or night shifts, typically 36–40 hours weekly, with orientation and structured onboarding. RN licensure and ED Stepdown experience preferred; BLS/ACLS/PALS required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active license.
• Graduate from an approved nursing program or equivalent experience.
• 1 year ED Stepdown RN experience; 2+ years preferred.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in care planning and delivers nursing care across the continuum.
• Assesses patient information and determines appropriate nursing actions.
• Monitors patient progress and adjusts care as needed.
• Promotes health and maintains a safe care environment.
