Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN is seeking a Temporary Staffing RN for a 13-week assignment in the Cardiac Stepdown unit (7E) on the Night shift. The Staffing Collaborative provides premium pay and optional health benefits through Temp Force.

Typical hours are 36–40 per week with weekend/holiday coverage possible, and a fixed assignment end date of 01/09/2027. RN licensure in Tennessee is required, with BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Tennessee licensure.
• 1 year Cardiac Stepdown RN experience, preferred 2+ years.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient’s care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient’s progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
