Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking ED scribes in the United States for full-time shifts in a fast-paced clinical setting. Scribes shadow physicians, document patient encounters, and contribute to real-time charting throughout each shift.

You will record histories, transcribe physical exams, and help plan follow-up care. Candidates should be highly motivated, with a pre-health track preferred, and must be at least 18 and able to read, write, and type efficiently.

Qualifications

• Highly motivated and driven to learn in a fast-paced medical setting.
• Proficient in English; secondary languages may be required at some locations.
• Pre-health track (pre-med, pre-PA, pre-nursing) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record the patient’s history and chief complaints.
• Transcribe physical exams.
• Prepare plans for follow-up care.
• Follow and observe physicians during shifts to document discussions and decisions.
