Job summary

Wyandot Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department for a contingent, part-time role. The position involves shifts that may include 12- and 8-hour periods, with weekend and holiday responsibilities and a minimum commitment of two shifts per month.

The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, support other departments as needed, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license required.
• ACLS, NRP, TNCC, and PALS certifications required.
• ENPC and TNCC are required within 1 year of hire.
• Two or more years of hospital critical care or Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Ability to recognize and interpret electrocardiographic information.
• Knowledge and experience managing ventilator patients.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department and assist other departments as assigned.
• Assess patient needs, plan and coordinate care, and evaluate outcomes efficiently and safely.
• Facilitate collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Adhere to nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote patient advocacy, safety, and improved health outcomes.
• Support teamwork with physicians and other personnel to maintain high-quality care.
