Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking full‑time Registered Nurses for the Emergency Department, home to Hampton Roads’ only Level I Trauma Center. Join a high‑performing team delivering timely, patient‑centered care in a 53‑bed ED with exposure to trauma, cardiac, stroke, and critical care cases.

Eligible candidates may receive a sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance; BSN/MSN preferred and BLS within 90 days of hire. The role offers weekend night shifts, 7:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• RN license and allowed to practice in Virginia.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in emergency department or acute care preferred.
• Magnet-designated hospital experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality emergency nursing care in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and communication in a fast‑paced ED.
• Support trauma, cardiac, stroke, and critical care cases as needed.
