Job summary

Johns Hopkins Intrastaff, the internal staffing arm of the Johns Hopkins Health System, is hiring an RN for a 13-week assignment on night shifts in Washington, DC. Must hold a DC RN license and have ED experience. Nursing leadership will guide care quality across inpatient and outpatient settings.

This role emphasizes evidence-based care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and participation in quality improvement and research initiatives within a renowned medical system.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current registered nurse license for DC.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in ED.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programs for inpatients, outpatients, families, and staff using evidence-based nursing care.
• Provide direction to/management of other team members to promote quality and safety.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to support care quality and program initiatives.
• Identify and participate in quality improvement initiatives across clinical, financial, operational areas.
• Initiate and participate in research activities relevant to the specialty area.
• Implement specialty-area initiatives as directed by nursing/medical leadership.
