Johns Hopkins Medicine-Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. seeks an Emergency Services Registered Nurse for a 13 Week In-house contract. The role offers full-time hours (36 per week) with a 12-hour night shift schedule in a dynamic ED environment.

Required DC RN licensure, accredited RN program graduation, and current ACLS/BLS/NIHSS/PALS certifications. ED experience preferred; strong teamwork and patient assessment skills are essential.

Sibley’s campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers; and the new patient tower with 200 spacious, private rooms.

Unit/Schedule:

• Emergency Department (22 ED beds, 6 Fast Track beds, 6 Hallway beds)
• 13 Week In-house contract, Full-time 36 hours/week
• 12-hour Night Shift 3p adn 7p

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia
• Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses
• 6 months of RN experience, ED preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS required.

Salary Range: Minimum 80.00/hour - Maximum 80.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
