Job summary

Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings, NE is seeking an Emergency Department Patient Access Representative. You will greet callers, register patients for ED, radiology and laboratory services, and coordinate room turnover to support smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• 1-2 years experience in patient care preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire required.
• CPI certification within first year of employment required.
• CNA from Nebraska or EMT certification from Nebraska required.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones and directing calls to appropriate departments.
• Registration for ED and outpatient procedures (radiology and laboratory).
• Stocking rooms and supply carts.
• Assisting patients with activities of daily living as needed.
• Communicating patient care needs and changes to the RN.
• Maintaining cleanliness of department and patient rooms.
• Coordinating patient room turnover to support timely flow.
• Other duties as assigned.
