Morgan Medical Center in Morgan County is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN Manager to lead our ED operations and ensure delivery of high-quality patient care. You will oversee daily workflows, mentor staff, and collaborate with physicians and administrators to coordinate patient care.

The role emphasizes leadership, ED operations knowledge, and compliance with safety standards, aiming to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia and current practice credentials.
• BSN or higher degree preferred for leadership with clinical expertise.
• 3–5 years of emergency nursing experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of ED operations, regulations, and safety standards.
• Proven leadership and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• EHR proficiency and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• ACLS and PALS certifications; TNCC is a plus and must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the emergency department and ensure high-quality patient care.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to promote development and uphold standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and administration to coordinate care and activities.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and policies.
• Manage staffing schedules, resources, and department budget for efficiency.
• Address patient and family concerns to ensure a positive experience.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives and monitor KPIs.
• Facilitate staff training and ongoing emergency preparedness protocols.
