Aiken Regional Medical Centers in South Carolina is seeking a Nurse Manager (RN) to lead two Free-Standing ED/ER locations, Sweetwater and Martintown. This role supervises staff, drives performance improvement, and partners with quality and hospital leaders to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, with a Masters preferred, and has at least five years of nursing and leadership experience, plus SC RN license, BLS, and ACLS.

Qualifications

• BSN required; Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years nursing experience.
• Leadership/management experience preferred.
• Current South Carolina RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Knowledge of HR management, program development and fiscal management.
• Familiarity with regulatory and accrediting standards.

Responsibilities

• The Nurse Manager ensures effective unit operations at two Free-Standing ED/ER locations by mentoring and supervising the unit's staff.
• Promotes professional growth and development of staff.
• Collaborates with the quality department and hospital leaders to redesign and lead performance improvement activities.
• Plans and executes operational and capital budgets with the Director of the Emergency Department and the CNO.
• Ensures clinical practice is evidence-based and aligned with physician partners.
• Promotes a positive working environment and a culture of safety for staff and patients.
