Job summary

Newberry Health in Newberry County, SC seeks an Emergency Department Navigator/Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead patient navigation efforts and coordinate care beyond the ED, typically Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

The role includes education, data collection to address equity gaps, collaboration with local agencies to improve population health, and supervision of hospital operations across the facility.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in South Carolina.
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in an acute care setting with one year of management or supervision in acute care setting.
• BLS/ ACLS/PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care outside the ED to reduce ambulatory care visits.
• Direct and supervise hospital functions and activities throughout the facility.
• Provide education and training to team members; collaborate with local, county, and state agencies to improve population health.
