Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Patient Flow Coordinator (RN) to oversee patient movement through the ED, ensuring safety and efficiency. The role collaborates with ED medical staff to optimize throughput and patient care.

Ideal candidates have a nursing degree, current RN licensure in Georgia, and at least one year in the ED, with experience in quality improvement projects. BCLS, ACLS, and PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 1 year of Emergency Department experience is required.
• RN licensure in Georgia is required.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS are required; CEN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall patient movement through the ED safely and efficiently.
• Liaise with ED medical staff to ensure timely and quality care.
• Delegate workload and model teamwork, leadership, and professionalism.
• Support ongoing quality and process improvement initiatives.
