Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join the WI Float Pool. This multi-site resource team supports ED care across Wisconsin, delivering adaptable nursing care across hospitals and units as needed.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in Wisconsin, BLS, and ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications, with 1–2 years ED experience. Weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, therapeutic, evidence-based nursing care across multiple ED settings.
• Float to multiple care environments within designated Zone and adapt quickly.
• Lead efforts to ensure the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
• Coordinate care for diverse patient populations in acute-care, outpatient departments and clinics.
