Job summary

Intermountain Health's Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Float Pool RN to join our fast-paced team. This role supports patient care across ED and other acute areas, with emphasis on adaptability, critical thinking, and teamwork.

We offer full-time opportunities with day or night schedules, a 10% float differential, and a comprehensive benefits package. A BSN is required, with RN license and BLS, and at least 1 year of ER experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice and BLS certification are required.
• Minimum one year of RN experience, preferably in emergency care.
• BSN is required and will be verified.
• RNs with less than 12 months experience must obtain BSN within four years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in fast-paced emergency care environments.
• Perform rapid patient assessments, prioritize care, and initiate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
