Job summary

Advocate Christ Medical Center in Illinois is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join the Emergency Department team. The role covers AM and PM shifts with weekend rotation and includes precepting pharmacy students and residents (PGY-1 and PGY-2).

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school or NABP FPGEC certificate.
• Licensed in state of practice or eligible for reciprocity.
• Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification required based on area of practice.
• Credentialing and privileging required based on area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and designs medication therapy regimens.
• Counsels patients and caregivers on therapy, adverse effects, and compliance.
• Monitors and evaluates patient-specific regimens and documents accordingly.
• Reviews medication orders and participates in medical emergencies as needed.
