Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX is seeking a Nursing Shift Coordinator leader for the Emergency Department night shift to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and attainment of daily clinical and operational goals.

You will coordinate nurse assignments based on patient acuity, staffing needs and physician priorities, monitor staff performance, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to resolve care concerns and optimize resources.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• ACLS/StABLE/Neonatal and pediatric life support credentials may be required.
• Experience leading nursing teams in ED or acute care environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Nursing Shift Coordinator team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
• Coordinate nursing assignments based on patient acuity, staffing needs and priorities.
• Monitor nursing staff performance and promote quality, safety, compliance and productivity.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to resolve patient care concerns and allocate resources.
