Job summary

TriHealth Clinton Regional Hospital in Wilmington, OH seeks a Charge Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will coordinate patient care on a shift with nursing personnel and support clinical practice standards.

The role requires an RN with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience, and 12-month ACLS competency. BSN within 5 years is required after hire; sign-on bonus included.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• BSN must be obtained within 5 years of hire.
• 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience is required.
• 1–2 years of progressive leadership experience is preferred.
• RN license is required.
• ACLS certification within 12 months of starting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care on a shift with assigned nursing personnel and act as a clinical resource.
• Communicate with unit staff and ensure adherence to standards of care, policies, and procedures.
• Identify problems and collaborate with teams to implement quality improvements in nursing practice.
• Mentor staff and provide guidance to float or agency nurses as needed.
