Northeast Georgia Health System seeks a Revenue Cycle professional to ensure accurate charge capture across emergency department services and related care, leveraging the hospital's information systems and standard billing policies.

The role identifies inconsistencies in medical records, works with staff to correct charges, and follows Medicare/Medicaid and third-party guidelines to support compliant billing practices.

Formación

• Working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, medications, and CPT/HCPCS.

Responsabilidades

• Identify all chargeable ED services and supplies.
• Calculate ED E/M level.
• Enter charges, quantities, and modifiers within 72 hours of discharge.
• Maintain >97% completion rate of charges in less than 72 hours.
• Collaborate with other departments on charge capture/documentation issues.
