Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Ensure the integrity of the data in the hospital's information system, Epic, with respect to patient demographic, insurance and admission information.
• Follow admission procedures and policies for all admitted patients.
• Secure follow up appointments in various clinics for Emergency Department patients.
• Obtain authorizations from health insurance companies for admitted patients.
• Collect insurance copays from patients.
• Collaborate with others to ensure a positive and effective patient experience.
