Job summary

Salado ISD is seeking an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher at Thomas Arnold Elementary in Salado, TX. The role centers on delivering individualized and small-group instruction aligned to IEP goals and ARD processes to support growth across cognitive, emotional, physical, and social domains.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements for assignment.
  • Knowledge of ARD Committee process and IEP goal setting process.
  • Experience: Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to develop IEP through ARD for each student.
  • Implement instructional, therapeutic, or skill development programs and document preparation.
  • Assess learning styles and plan instruction using diverse strategies and materials.
  • Participate in ARD Committee meetings and assist in selecting instructional media.
