Job summary

Wildwood Springs Elementary, part of Dripping Springs ISD, seeks a Special Education Instructional Aide - ECSE to support instructional, physical, behavioral and self-help needs of students with disabilities. Work under supervision of a certified teacher and campus principal to implement classroom programs and IEP accommodations.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, assisting with motor skills, behavior management, and assisting in a range of school settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas educational aide certificate before day one in classroom.
• Option 1: two years of college (48 hours); Option 2: associate degree or higher; Option 3: approved paraprofessional program (Master Teacher).

Responsibilities

• Assist in instructional programs and IEP implementation.
• Support students individually or in groups to develop skills.
• Assist with transitions, self-help, and personal care needs.
• Record and maintain academic, behavioral, and administrative data.
• Maintain confidentiality per FERPA.
• Assist with supplies, schedules, and classroom organization.
