Job summary

New Braunfels ISD seeks an ECSE Instructional Aide to support students with disabilities inside and outside the classroom. You will help implement IEPs, support self-help, behavior management, and instructional programs under supervision of a certified teacher.

The role includes preparing materials, maintaining an organized classroom, assisting with inventory, and supporting substitutes. Requires a high school diploma/ GED and SBEC Educational Aide Certificate.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with children with disabilities.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Experience with IEPs and instructional support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Maintain a neat, orderly classroom and assist with inventory and equipment care.
• Help teacher keep records and prepare required reports.
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
• Support students with mobility and personal care as needed.
• Assist with small-group motor skills activities and adaptive exercises.
