Job summary

Tri-Lakes Special Services Cooperative is seeking an early childhood special education paraprofessional to support students at the Kirbyville ECSE Center.

The successful candidate will assist in providing special education support, collect data as directed by the supervising teacher, and deliver personal care assistance to students, including toileting, feeding, and cleanup when needed. A background check and required credentials are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidate must have 60 college credit hours or passed the Para Pro Assessment and be able to obtain a clear background check.
• In addition candidate must obtain a substitute teacher certificate.
• Previous experience in the medical field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be organized and have a passion to serve ECSE students.
• Assist in supporting students with special education needs.
• Assist in data collection, as directed by supervising teacher.
• Provide personal care assistance to students, such as toileting, feeding, and cleaning, as needed.
