Amazon is seeking an Economist for the BEAM team within CXBT to develop econometric models at scale and apply causal inference, ML, and generative AI to improve customer experience across Amazon's businesses.

You'll collaborate with senior management, scientists, engineers, and economics leadership to translate research into scalable solutions and communicate findings through business narratives and papers. This role offers impact across multiple business lines and uses world-class data systems.

Qualifications

• PhD in economics is required or equivalent.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience in research positions (postdoc, academic, consulting, government).
