Job summary

NERA is seeking Researchers to join our Washington, DC offices. The role emphasizes building quantitative models, applying econometric methods, and delivering rigorous economic analysis for law firms, corporations, regulators, and governments.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, a BA/BS (or Masters) in economics or related fields, and exposure to finance, accounting, econometrics, and programming.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• coursework or experience in finance, economics, accounting, econometrics, or programming.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building quantitative models and applying econometric analysis to economic and financial data
• Valuation analyses
• Reviewing, summarizing, and analyzing industry trends
• Creating trial exhibits and presentation materials
• Writing code for complex data analysis
• Participating in client meetings
• Drafting memos and expert reports
