Job summary

Clovis Community College seeks an Economics Instructor for a part-time pool. The instructor will teach economics courses, use a variety of pedagogies across face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats, and communicate effectively with students and colleagues.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in economics or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and supports equitable teaching practices within a diverse student population. Equity-minded leadership is valued.

Qualifications

• Master’s in economics or equivalent education/experience as stated in the announcement.
• Bachelor’s in economics plus Master’s in related field or credential.
• Valid California Community College credential or equivalency process.

Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of economics courses as assigned.
• Use diverse pedagogy and multiple delivery formats (in-person, online, hybrid).
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
• Follow approved curriculum outlines and course objectives.
