Job summary

Houston Christian University seeks an adjunct professor of economics to teach in the Archie W. Dunham College of Business on the Houston campus. Courses may be offered during the day, in the evening, online, or in hybrid formats to support undergraduate and graduate programs.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality instruction and actively integrate Christian faith into the curriculum, contributing to a diverse and active academic community.

Qualifications

• PhD or DBA from an AACSB- or ACBSP-accredited university in the teaching discipline.
• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the field.
• Prior university-level teaching experience is preferred.
• Professional experience in the teaching discipline is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent teaching to undergraduate or graduate students in face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
• Actively integrate the Christian faith in teaching.
