Job summary

Houston Christian University seeks an adjunct Professor of Economics to teach at our Houston campus, with daytime and evening courses available. Residential adjunct faculty may also teach online and hybrid formats to support undergraduate and graduate business programs.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD or DBA (or master’s with substantial graduate coursework) and demonstrate ability to teach in diverse delivery formats while integrating Christian faith into instruction.

Qualifications

• Earned PhD or DBA from AACSB- or ACBSP-accredited university in economics or related field.
• Alternatively, a Master’s with at least 18 graduate semester hours in economics and strong professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent teaching to undergraduate or graduate students in face-to-face, online or hybrid formats.
• Actively integrate the Christian faith in teaching.
