Job summary

Houston Christian University is seeking an Adjunct Professor of Finance to support the Archie W. Dunham College of Business.

The candidate will teach residential classes at the Houston campus with daytime and evening options, and may teach online or hybrid formats. A PhD or DBA from an AACSB- or ACBSP-accredited institution is required, with alternatives for master’s-qualified candidates under specific conditions.

Qualifications

• Earned PhD or DBA from AACSB- or ACBSP-accredited university in the teaching discipline.
• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the field of teaching is acceptable with strong qualifications.
• Prior university-level teaching experience is preferred; professional experience in the field is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent instruction to undergraduate or graduate students in face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
• Actively integrate the Christian faith in teaching.
