Job summary

The role requires flexibility for in-person, online, hybrid, or livestream instruction. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Economics or 18 graduate credits, with higher-education teaching experience and comfort with online tools like Moodle.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in Economics, or 18 graduate credits in Economics.
Experience teaching economics at the higher education level is preferred.
Experience teaching online courses is preferred.
Experience/knowledge of using computers in course preparation and development.

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver lectures for economics courses (e.g., ECO 201 and ECO 202).
Foster student learning, stimulate discussions, and promote active learning.
Maintain accurate class-related records and promptly assess coursework.
Develop and distribute course syllabi and maintain Moodle gradebooks.
Participate in adjunct faculty development and meet adjunct review requirements.
Adapt instruction to in-person, online, hybrid, livestream formats as needed.
