Job summary

Georgia Northwestern Technical College is seeking a qualified Economics Adjunct Faculty member to teach a three-contact-hour course. The instructor will use Blackboard Ultra for online components, deliver instruction per the approved syllabus, and assess student progress.

Responsibilities include grading, record-keeping, and participation in professional development. Required a Master’s in Economics (or related field with 18 graduate hours) with teaching experience at a technical college

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics or related field with 18 graduate semester hours in Economics.
• Teaching experience at a Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) college preferred.
• Experience teaching online and Blackboard Ultra Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction based on approved course syllabus.
• Ensure course outcomes meet objectives and prepare curriculum.
• Evaluate student progress and administer exams.
• Maintain attendance and grades records and attend trainings.
• Assist recruitment, retention and job placement efforts.
