Middle Georgia State University (eCampus) seeks a dynamic part-time online instructor of Economics to deliver high-quality online courses using D2L Brightspace (GoVIEW). The role requires a master’s degree in Economics with at least 3 years of undergraduate teaching, including online experience.

Applicants should be able to support student success in an online environment and be available for online office hours or chats. Doctorate is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• A relevant master’s degree is required (an earned doctorate is preferred) with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the field of Economics.
• A minimum of three years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level, with at least one year of successful online teaching.
• Experience with online learning and learning management systems.
• A commitment to supporting student success in an online learning environment.
• Ability to convey difficult concepts online in a manner that actively facilitates student understanding and success.

Responsibilities

• Teach Economics courses online using D2L Brightspace (GoVIEW).
• Provide quality online instruction and facilitation.
• Be available for online office hours or online chats as required.
