Job summary

The West Virginia Department of Human Services is seeking a full-time supervisor to oversee economic service workers in eligibility determination and casework for financial assistance programs. Under general supervision, you will guide staff and ensure compliance with policy in processing applications and redeterminations.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid employment in a public or private social welfare agency or related experience in interviewing or evaluating claimants for assistance, veteran's or unemployment benefits, insurance or similar programs operating under established criteria for eligibility.
• Substitution of additional work experience as defined above for the training on a year-for-year basis.
