Davis County Community & Economic Office in Farmington, Utah is hiring an Economic Development Intern. The role focuses on integrating Salesforce CRM into the CED department and assisting with multiple economic development projects including The Davis Loan Fund and regional collaborations.

Qualifications

• Degree in progress or Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Public Policy, Urban Planning, Business, Economics or related field.
• Must furnish personal transportation for in-state on-the-job travel and hold a valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Learn, manage, and implement the CRM system from Salesforce for the department.
• Update and maintain all contacts in the CRM system.
• Support the Economic Development team with events such as COG and the Utah Alliance for Economic Development's Fall meeting.
• Assist with planning the Code Blue season.
• Support marketing and promotional activities for economic development.
• Provide administrative and technical services with the Davis County COG staff.
• Conduct business evaluations/surveys to identify local needs and incentives.
• Arrange and attend professional economic development meetings and events.
• Assist with responses to information/proposals to prospective businesses.
