Overview

As the Ecommerce Specialist for our Amazon Marketplace, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our online presence and driving revenue growth. You will be part of a small, dynamic, multi-role team where you will have the opportunity to strategize, execute, and optimize our Amazon marketplace operations, ensuring that we reach and exceed our sales and profitability targets. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, deep knowledge of Amazon's platform, and a passion for e-commerce. You will work with a small team and support other ecommerce 3rd party channels and our primary website safetygloves.com on Shopify. Some days you will work on other ecommerce channel projects.

Location

The position will be fully in-office at our headquarters at Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Responsibilities
  • Own the Amazon catalog and product listing page.
  • Build/optimize listings (titles, bullets, images/video, A+), link correct variations, apply keywords, and keep everything compliant.
  • Fix suppressions/stranded inventory fast via flat files and case management.
  • Drive continuous improvement with data.
  • Assist in planning and implementing Amazon advertising campaigns, including sponsored product listings and pay-per-click (PPC) ads, to maximize ROI through Helium 10.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure products are in stock and available to meet customer demand while minimizing overstock situations.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for our Amazon marketplace presence, including product listings, pricing, and promotions, to drive sales growth and profitability.
  • Understand industry trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to identify opportunities for growth and market differentiation.
  • Answering customers questions and order issues. Continuously improve the customer shopping experience, including managing customer feedback and addressing product-related issues promptly.
  • Utilize data and analytics tools to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to Amazon's policies, guidelines, and standards, as well as manage day-to-day operations, such as order processing and customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with vendors, Amazon representatives, and third-party service providers to optimize operations and enhance our marketplace presence.

  • Have experience with other 3rd party ecommerce channels like eBay, Walmart.com, and other online retailers.
