Job description

An Ecommerce Specialist is responsible for managing and growing our company's presence across multiple online marketplaces and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels. This role focuses on driving online revenue, improving product visibility, managing marketplace performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

This role will be hybrid in either Boston, MA area or Fairfield, OH.

Ecommerce Responsibilities Overview

• Focus on daily operations of our B2B and consumer websites, including product listings, pricing, and content updates
• Monitor website performance and recommend improvements to increase conversion rates and customer engagement
• Coordinate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure alignment of online initiatives

Marketplace

• Manage and optimize product listings across Amazon and Walmart
• Monitor marketplace account health, seller performance metrics, and customer feedback
• Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and standards
• Plan distribution orders for fulfillment programs with Amazon and Walmart
• Ensure timely processing of orders and resolution of fulfillment-related issues
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, conversion rates, traffic, buy box performance, and advertising ROI
• Generate regular reports and provide actionable recommendations
• Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and assortment strategies
• Utilize analytics tools to identify trends and growth opportunities

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years in e-commerce, marketplace operations, or retail
• Proficiency in marketplace platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, etc.), analytics tools, and possibly Google Merchant Center
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
• Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills
• Experience troubleshooting marketplace issues and adapting strategies to competitive pressures
