  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in effectively supervising and leading a diverse team, guiding them toward achieving department goals and objectives.

Job description

The eCommerce Merchandising Manager will be responsible for optimizing digital product presentation and endless aisle assortment for two websites. This role focuses on driving sales through effective merchandising strategies, product assortment, and customer engagement. The manager collaborates with various teams to create a seamless shopping experience that attracts and retains customers.

  • Partner with the merchandising, creative and web development teams to deliver the best customer experience online
  • Define a best-in-class process for new product delivery and go to market new product launches
  • Propose in-season updates to merchandising and retention marketing plans that reflect inventory positions and product mix
  • Assort products into the site taxonomy, optimize conversion, page views & add to cart
  • Generate reports and present findings to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and opportunities for merchandising optimization
  • Maintain and update site taxonomy based on seasonal collections and new product categories. Determine appropriate refinements to include on product listing pages
  • Monitor customer product reviews for any risk or opportunities
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to your team
  • Analyze sales trends and customer preferences to make informed decisions on product selection.
  • Develop and implement merchandising banner placement strategies for the eCommerce site, including product placement, imagery, and promotional banners
  • Use analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer engagement
  • Generate reports to assess the effectiveness of merchandising strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to align merchandising efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies that could impact eCommerce merchandising

REQUIRED SKILLS:
