Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on ecommerce marketplace management experience including Amazon Seller Central, FBA/FBM, pricing and profitability.
• Experience with marketplace channels such as Walmart and eBay, and understanding Buy Box dynamics.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

An established consumer electronics and technology products distributor is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Marketplace Manager to lead and expand its third-party marketplace business. This is a hands-on management position with direct responsibility for marketplace operations, sales performance, profitability, inventory management, and operational efficiency. We are seeking someone who has successfully managed ecommerce operations for a reseller, distributor, wholesaler, or multibrand retailer—not someone whose experience is limited to promoting a single manufacturer's products. The ideal candidate understands the commercial realities of buying inventory for resale, competing for the Buy Box, managing marketplace fees and fulfillment costs, and protecting profitability while driving growth.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day operations across Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, eBay, and additional sales channels.
• Manage Amazon FBA and FBM operations, including inbound shipments, fulfillment performance, order processing, and account health.
• Monitor marketplace pricing, Buy Box competitiveness, sales performance, and contribution margins.
• Analyze marketplace fees, fulfillment expenses, returns, and other costs to identify profitability improvements.
• Oversee inventory synchronization, product availability, and listing accuracy across multiple channels.
• Manage returns, customer claims, account issues, and marketplace performance standards.
• Improve operational workflows through ERP integrations, process automation, and marketplace management software.
• Coordinate with purchasing, sales, and warehouse personnel to maintain efficient inventory flow and order fulfillment.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand marketplace revenue while maintaining operational and financial discipline.
• Remain directly involved in daily execution, including resolving order, inventory, fulfillment, and marketplace exceptions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on ecommerce marketplace management experience, including direct responsibility for Amazon Seller Central operations, FBA/FBM fulfillment, marketplace pricing, profitability, and day-to-day execution.
• Demonstrated experience with Amazon FBA and FBM, including shipment creation, inventory management, order fulfillment, and seller account performance.
• Working knowledge of Walmart Marketplace and/or eBay.
• Strong understanding of competitive marketplace pricing, Buy Box dynamics, referral fees, fulfillment costs, and profitability.
• Experience with ecommerce inventory-management systems, ERP platforms, or multichannel marketplace software.
• Proven ability to independently manage marketplace operations and resolve problems without extensive supervision.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a growing business where the manager is both responsible for strategy and actively involved in execution.
