Job description

Hollywood Engineering makes Hollywood Racks, a leading bike rack and accessories brand. We sell direct-to-consumer, on Amazon, and through our B2B / independent bike dealer channel.

We’re hiring a Marketing Operations Manager to run the day-to-day marketing engine across Hollywood Racks as well as a new additional brand and collaborate closely with our leadership and creative director to support the brands' vision. This role is primarily focused on marketing operations—owning the calendar, tools, and coordination that keep our execution running on schedule—while proactively feeding fresh campaign and content ideas to the creative team. In this position, you’ll also bridge the gap between high-level strategy and daily deployment, ensuring our goals translate into successful campaigns. Additionally, you will support our creative needs, handling light, self-serve content work to keep our channels sharp and engaging.

You’ll thrive here if you’re highly organized, systems-minded, and self-directed — equally comfortable running an agency relationship, keeping our storefronts and channels sharp, and turning a busy calendar into campaigns that ship on time.

Why Join Us?

At Hollywood Engineering, you’re joining a legacy brand with the speed and innovation of a growth-focused team. We take pride in building high-quality, durable gear that gets people outside, and we’re looking for a partner to help scale our voice and impact. You won't be a cog in a machine here; you'll be a core part of a small family oriented & collaborative team where your insights directly shape our brands' growth and daily operations.

What You'll Own:
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for our outside agency and creative director — briefing, reviewing, and approving work.
  • Own the marketing and promotional calendar across both brands and keep campaigns on schedule.
  • Quarterback each product launch across store, social, email, and dealers off a single plan, so launches run on schedule.
  • Maintain performance reporting across channels, own the marketing tool stack (Klaviyo, review and TikTok Shop apps), and keep the budget-vs-actual tracker current.
Social & community
  • Work with creative team to manage and monitor organic social; engage and respond in-channel.
  • Feed trends, comments, and competitor activity back into the calendar and to the creative team.
TikTok Shop
  • Build out and run TikTok Shop for both brands, with a near-term focus on launching our related future brand — catalog, shoppable content, and the creator affiliate program.
Influencer & creator partnerships
  • Source, negotiate, and manage creators — both gifting and paid.
  • Run the TikTok Shop affiliate / creator pipeline and track what actually drives sales.
  • Partner with the sales manager to communicate product, promo, and launch information to our retail and independent-dealer partners.
  • Prepare and share dealer-facing marketing materials that support the B2B / IBD channel.
Light hands-on creative (nice to have, not the core of the job)
  • Quick self-serve edits when they’re faster than delegating: simple iPhone content and basic Photoshop / Illustrator touch-ups for the website.
What We're Looking For:
  • 3-5 years in marketing, ideally with an outdoor related consumer-products brand.
  • Exceptional organization and follow-through — you can run an agency relationship and a busy calendar without being managed.
  • Proficiency in Marketing Strategy and Sales to develop and execute campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and revenue.
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify.
  • Email / SMS marketing experience (Klaviyo or similar).
  • Native fluency in organic social and short-form content trends.
  • Strong writing and relationship-building for influencer and creator outreach.
  • Comfort pulling and reading channel performance data.
Nice to Have:
  • Basic content creation: iPhone video and simple Photoshop / Illustrator edits.
  • Experience with influencer / affiliate platforms.
  • Interest in cycling, the outdoors, or the bike industry.
Where This Role Can Grow:

We see this position evolving from day-to-day operations into a broader strategic role. As you master the core marketing engine, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of long-term brand initiatives. We’re looking for someone who wants to help shape the future of Hollywood Racks, not just manage the present.

  • Base salary: $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience
