Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Remote eCommerce Expert to lead and manage our online sales initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our eCommerce strategy, optimizing our online platforms, driving traffic and conversions, and ensuring a seamless and positive online customer experience. You will work closely with marketing, IT, operations, and other relevant teams to achieve our eCommerce goals. This is a fully remote position requiring a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of eCommerce best practices, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
eCommerce Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive eCommerce strategy aligned with WeCare Medical Specialty Group's overall business objectives, including defining product offerings, pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and customer acquisition and retention tactics.
Platform Management and Optimization: Oversee the management and optimization of our eCommerce platform(s) (e.g., Shopify, Magento, custom-built), ensuring optimal site performance, user experience (UX), and conversion rates.
Website Merchandising and Content Management: Manage product listings, descriptions, images, and other website content to maximize visibility, engagement, and sales. Implement effective merchandising strategies to highlight key products and promotions.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM): Develop and execute SEO and SEM strategies to drive organic and paid traffic to our online store. Conduct keyword research, optimize website content, and manage PPC campaigns.
Digital Marketing and Promotions: Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, and affiliate marketing, to drive traffic, generate leads, and increase sales.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key eCommerce metrics (e.g., website traffic, conversion rates, average order value, customer acquisition cost) using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Generate regular reports and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
Customer Experience Management: Focus on creating a positive and seamless online customer experience, from initial browsing to post-purchase support. Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Inventory Management and Fulfillment Coordination: Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes for online orders.
Payment Processing and Security: Oversee the integration and security of online payment gateways. Ensure compliance with relevant payment processing regulations.
A/B Testing and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Implement and analyze A/B tests on website elements and marketing campaigns to optimize conversion rates and improve overall performance.
Staying Current with eCommerce Trends: Continuously research and stay updated on the latest eCommerce trends, technologies, and best practices.
Compliance and Regulations: Ensure all eCommerce activities comply with relevant healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and online sales guidelines.
Collaboration and Communication: Effectively communicate eCommerce strategies, performance results, and project updates to internal stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
Qualifications:
Work Permit/Citizenship: Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit allowing employment in the United States.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, eCommerce, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in managing and growing eCommerce operations, preferably within a regulated industry (healthcare experience is a significant advantage).
eCommerce Platform Expertise: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with at least one major eCommerce platform (e.g., Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce). Experience with multiple platforms is a plus.
Digital Marketing Expertise: Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media marketing, and other digital marketing channels.
Analytics Proficiency: Expertise in using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track, analyze, and report on eCommerce performance.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Proven ability to implement and analyze A/B tests and other CRO strategies to improve website performance.
Customer Experience Focus: A strong understanding of the principles of excellent online customer experience.
Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a remote environment.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve eCommerce challenges.
Technical Aptitude: Comfortable working with various online tools and technologies.
Understanding of Healthcare Regulations (Preferred): Familiarity with HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations related to online activities is a significant plus.
