Summary:
MSI is looking for an eCommerce Catalog Specialist to join our Digital Commerce team in Orange, California.
This is a hands‑on opportunity to work with some of North America's largest retailers and marketplaces, including Home Depot, Wayfair, Amazon, Ferguson, Walmart, Costco, Zoro, Tractor Supply, and others.
Reporting to the Senior eCommerce Catalog Manager, you will help bring MSI products to market online - from gathering product information and digital assets through retailer onboarding, PDP development, catalog optimization, and post‑launch quality assurance.

To perform this job successfully the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:
What You'll Do:
- Support new product onboarding and launches across major retailer and marketplace platforms.
- Gather, organize, validate, and maintain product specifications, attributes, descriptions, imagery, and other digital assets.
- Complete retailer onboarding templates and work within retailer portals and eCommerce systems.
- Coordinate with Product Management, Sourcing, Graphics, Photography, Marketing, Sales, IT, and offshore teams to keep projects moving.
- Maintain project trackers, follow up on outstanding deliverables, identify bottlenecks, and communicate project status.
- Build and optimize Product Detail Pages (PDPs), including content, imagery, attributes, infographics, video, and enhanced content.
- Review live products for accuracy, completeness, and customer experience.
- Troubleshoot rejected items, missing information, catalog errors, and retailer-platform issues.
- Use Excel and other tools to organize, compare, validate, and manage product data.
- Conduct competitive research and identify opportunities to improve online product presentation and discoverability.
- Use generative AI and emerging technologies to improve content, research, data workflows, and execution efficiency.
- Help improve and standardize processes across our U.S. and offshore Digital Commerce teams.
Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant professional experience
- Two (2) to Four (4) years of experience in eCommerce, catalog management, marketplace operations, digital merchandising, product content, Product Information Management, or a related field.
- Hands‑on experience with online product catalogs, PDPs, product listings, or new‑item onboarding.
- Experience working with retailer/marketplace portals, templates, feeds, or similar eCommerce systems.
- Strong Excel and data‑management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong organizational and project‑coordination skills.
- Ability to work across multiple teams, follow up proactively, and drive assigned work to completion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new systems, technologies, products, and processes.

- Hands‑on experience managing product content, catalogs, or item onboarding for major retailers and marketplaces such as Home Depot, Wayfair, Amazon, Walmart, Ferguson, Costco, Tractor Supply, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with PIM, DAM, CMS, product syndication platforms, retailer portals, or other product‑information systems.
- Experience creating or managing enhanced eCommerce content, including product imagery, infographics, videos, comparison content, and other PDP assets.
- Strong understanding of product taxonomy, attributes, metadata, eCommerce SEO, and online product discoverability.
- Experience using generative AI tools to improve product content, research, data management, imagery, or workflow efficiency.
- Experience coordinating projects across Product Management, Sourcing, Graphics, Photography, Marketing, Sales, or other cross‑functional teams.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large or complex product datasets.
- Experience within home improvement, building materials, flooring, furniture, or another product‑intensive eCommerce environment.
