Job summary

CXtec is seeking a Value Recovery Specialist in Syracuse, NY, to identify IT assets with eCommerce value and drive listings on platforms like eBay. You’ll research market values, craft compelling product content, and support shipping and inventory tasks.

The role requires 3 years of relevant experience, familiarity with IT hardware, and strong Excel skills. Onsite work at the Distribution Center is required, with competitive hourly pay and a performance-based component.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of experience in a warehouse, customer support or related role.
• Experience in content creation, eCommerce, online product listings and selling on eBay or similar online marketplaces.
• Familiarity with IT hardware and consumer electronics products.
• Familiarity with photo and video editing software for creating engaging product media.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and internet research.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and writing skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Identify IT assets in the warehouse (physically or virtually) with eCommerce value.
• Coordinate with Operations to move selected assets into a finished goods site for sale.
• Conduct product research using manufacturer websites and industry sources.
• Perform market value assessments to determine competitive pricing.
• Create product listings on eBay and other DTC platforms.
• Write and manage product content including descriptions and digital assets.
• Manage content calendars, publishing schedules, and product catalogs.
• Monitor listing performance and aging inventory.
• Provide sales and content performance reports to leadership.
• Work cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and Ecommerce Teams.
• Assist with order picking and shipping as needed.
• Proactively audit product listings for accuracy and consistency.
• Report bugs or issues to manager.
