Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking an eCommerce Application Developer to join our Richardson, TX team.

You will collaborate with global product owners and architects to design, build, and support enterprise eCommerce solutions using SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and SAP CPQ, with integrations to SAP ECC and Salesforce. You will lead hands-on development, drive release management, and mentor backend developers in Java/Spring best practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of hands-on development with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)
• Deep proficiency in Java (J2EE) and the Spring Framework
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing with Azure DevOps

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end SAP Commerce Hybris solutions and SAP CPQ integrations

IDR is seeking a eCommerce Application Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Richardson, TX. In this role, you’ll partner with global Product Owners, Business Solution Architects, and developers to design, build, and support enterprise eCommerce solutions. This position sits within a fast-paced digital environment supporting large-scale B2B commerce capabilities and system integrations across key platforms.

Position Overview for the eCommerce Application Developer:

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to refine requirements, validate technical proposals, and deliver solutions aligned to business needs.
• Design and develop end-to-end solutions within SAP Commerce (Hybris) and SAP CPQ, integrating with SAP ECC, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and external web services.
• Lead hands-on development efforts including implementing user stories, optimizing/refactoring code, and resolving complex production issues.
• Own release management activities, including driving scrum ceremonies, managing change approvals, and supporting deployments.
• Guide and mentor backend developers on Java/Spring best practices, code quality, and Hybris-specific development standards.

Requirements for the eCommerce Application Developer:

• 8+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), with SAP CPQ experience preferred
• Strong functional understanding of B2B sales processes and concepts (including Configure to Order and Engineer to Order)
• Deep proficiency in Java (J2EE) and the Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Integration)
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks using Azure DevOps
