Job summary

Alliance of Professionals & Consultants, Inc. (APC) seeks an experienced eCommerce Application Developer III for an onsite role in Richardson, TX. You will drive design, development, and integration of SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) with SAP CPQ, SAP ECC, and CRM systems, while mentoring backend developers in Java/Spring.

The position emphasizes hands-on coding, release management, and close collaboration with product managers and designers to deliver scalable storefronts using Spartacus or ReactJS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on development in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) with at least 2 years in SAP CPQ.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and Configure-to-Order/Engineer-to-Order.
• Hands-on with Hybris and CPQ for defining technical architecture.
• Solid understanding of headless architecture with Spartacus or ReactJS and OCC APIs.
• Proficient in Java/J2EE and Spring Framework; strong communication.
• Experience in agile environments and large SAP Commerce implementations.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

Job Title: eCommerce Application Developer III

Type: Direct Hire

Work Location: Onsite position located in Richardson, TX

Job Overview: You will work alongside our global team of Product Owners, Business Solution Architects and Developers to collaborate on specifications based on stakeholder requirements, validate the proposals, and deliver the solutions.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Design and Development

• Hands-on coding to deliver user stories, optimize and refactor code to improve performance
• End to end solutions within SAP Commerce (Hybris) platform and SAP CPQ integrating with SAP ECC, CRM Systems (Salesforce or similar) and other external web services.
• Lead technical code review to ensure standards and requirements are met
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, integration guides, and API documentation.
• Create custom skills to automate repetitive tasks and document to maintain and share context with the rest of the team and improve governance using Claude AI or similar
• Troubleshoot complex production issues (memory leaks, thread dumps) and optimize backend services.
• Participate in enterprise level technical design review.

Release Management

• Take ownership of release cycles including running scrum ceremonies
• Documenting and getting the change approved to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and oversee automated testing frameworks.

Collaboration

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams to translate business objectives into an executable plan.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver intuitive and efficient user experiences
• Guide and mentor a team of backend developers in Java/Spring best practice, code quality, and Hybris-specific development standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree
• A minimum of 5 years of hand on development experience within SAP Commerce cloud (Hybris) platform, at least 2 years within that uses SAP CPQ (Configure Price Quote) module preferred.
• Strong functional understanding of B2B Sales processes and concepts, exposure to Configure to Order, Engineer to Order process.
• Hands on technical skills with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and SAP CPQ that will be utilized to define technical architecture.
• Solid understanding of Headless Architecture using Spartacus (SAP Composable Storefront) or ReactJS based front end and OCC (Omni Commerce Connect) APIs
• Deep proficiency in Java (J2EE) and the Spring Framework (Spring Core, MVC, Security, Integration).
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Working experience in a highly agile environment and ability to multitask
• Strong experience in Solutioning for complex projects and background in mid to large-scale B2B SAP Commerce implementations
• The ability to analyze complex problems, identify patterns, and develop innovative solutions

Big Bonus Points If You Have

• Hands on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2) Migration projects
• Experience in full stack development with ReactJS
• Experience in creating custom skills to automate repetitive tasks using Claude AI or similar

Job Requisition # 40350

A reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $130,000 - $141,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
