Job summary

Johnson Health Tech is seeking an Ecommerce Data & Analytics Engineer to design and maintain data infrastructure, reporting systems, and analytics capabilities for our ecommerce and omnichannel business.

You will integrate data across ecommerce, website analytics, CRM, marketing, retail POS, ERP, and operations to provide a centralized view of performance and enable data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, BI or related data role
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
• Strong SQL for transforming and analyzing complex datasets
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift)
• Proficiency in Python and/or R for data transformation and analysis
• Experience integrating APIs and multiple data sources
• Experience with BI/reporting platforms (Looker/Tableau/Power BI etc.)
• Experience modeling data and reporting structures for reliable business reporting
• Knowledge of ecommerce analytics, customer journey measurement, conversion funnels, attribution, lifecycle marketing
• Previous experience in ecommerce/retail data environments preferred
• Familiarity with CDPs, event-based analytics, marketing automation, A/B testing frameworks preferred

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines connecting ecommerce, analytics, CRM, marketing, POS, ERP, APIs and ad tech
• Develop ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, normalization and reporting
• Establish reliable data models, schemas and reporting standards
• Integrate third-party data sources into centralized data environments
• Monitor data pipelines and reporting for quality and performance
• Maintain documentation for data sources, definitions and reporting structures
• Create centralized dashboards for ecommerce, customer lifecycle, marketing and product performance
• Combine behavioral, transactional, marketing and operational data for a complete business view
• Develop reports on traffic, engagement, add-to-cart, checkout, conversion, revenue and AOV
• Create lifecycle reports including CRM, email, segmentation, attribution and purchase behavior
• Provide data to support UX, merchandising decisions and personalization initiatives
• Support A/B testing by defining metrics and reporting results
• Analyze product/category/customer behavior to improve conversion and revenue
• Partner with teams to define KPIs and reporting requirements
• Translate business questions into data requirements and actionable recommendations
