The role emphasizes expanding client services and coordinating a project team for success. The position requires navigating EPA, Army Corps of Engineers, and Fish & Wildlife regulations, with a clear career path within our ecological practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Biology, or related technical field.
• Local and/or national contacts and the ability to develop and market to new and existing clients.
• Demonstrated understanding of State and Federal regulations from agencies such as USEPA, US Army Corps of Engineers, and US Fish & Wildlife Service.
• Ability to provide technical expertise and mentoring to staff in the ecological practice.
• Ability to manage multiple activities, technical professionals and targeted client base.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Natural Stream Channel Restoration, or Environmental Permitting and Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead ecological projects and manage project teams to obtain permits and ensure compliance.
• Develop and market client relationships to grow the ecological practice.
• Mentor staff and provide technical guidance on ecological work and regulatory issues.
