Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. seeks an Ecological Project Manager for our St. Charles, MO office to lead and grow project teams, ensuring regulatory compliance and ecological success for commercial, institutional, and energy clients.

You will supervise ecologists, work with clients and agencies, and influence projects from design through construction, leveraging extensive ecological expertise and leadership to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ecology, biology, or related field; master's preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in wetland/stream delineation, endangered species, and/or environmental permitting.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations from agencies such as USACE and USFWS.
• Strong written and verbal communication; mentoring and project leadership abilities.

• Grow and manage project teams to navigate regulatory landscape and project challenges.
• Supervise staff ecologists and lead projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies through the full project lifecycle.
